Girls' Chapel Choir

The Girls' Chapel Choir consists of about 35 selected Years 4 to 8 girls.  Rehearsals are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 8.00am - 8.30am.

Selection to the Choir follows from attendance and success in the Girls' Training group and the availability of a place.

Pupils wishing to be part of the Chapel Choir should initially approach Mr Ellis with the request to join.

Once in the Chapel Choir, choristers wear the maroon cassock.  After a year's satisfactory service and attendance, a girl is presented with a surplice in a short ceremony.

Girls are encouraged to work through the RSCM "Voice for Life" syllabus in which they can qualify to wear a light blue, dark blue, red or yellow ribbon. Examinable levels at an international standard will be available from 2013.
