Lapel badges are awarded for leadership roles, and for participation in school sports, activities and service groups. Very occasionally, a badge may be designed to commemorate a significant event, such as the school's 125th anniversary in 2006 or the Canterbury earthquakes in 2011.

The Badges Policy sets out the details for awarding and wearing badges, including a description of which badges may be worn, where and when.

The cost of any badge awarded to your child will be charged to your school account.

The picture below indicates where badges should be worn on the blazer lapels.
