Inter-School Sports Results

Listed below are the results of sporting events with other schools. They are listed in chronological order.

2012

Games v St Andrew's College Preparatory School, Monday, 29 October

1st XI Cricket: Loss CGS batted first and made 84 for 3 (Sam Abbot 30, Will Duston and Lewey Heale 14 each). STAC replied with 87 for 5 wickets.
The score does not reflect the tension in/of the game. The opening pair (Sam Julian and William Duston) got CGS off to a good start and then the other batsmen played positively. Sam Abbot and Lewey Heale had a great partnership which saw us post a competitive score.  Sam Abbot, Lewey Heale and Sam Armitage all took a wicket with Gus Coates bowling a demanding line and length to finish with 2 for 8. One STAC batsman (Shiloh) played well and made 56 not out. A narrow loss to a good team with one strong player.
2nd XI Cricket: WIN by 5 wickets.  St Andrews batted first and made 96 runs for 7 wickets off 25 overs: CGS 98 runs off 21 overs for 5 wickets. Player of the day: Miles Cockram, Fielder of the day - Wiles Wyn Thomas
Colts XI Cricket: WIN by 20 runs.  CGS batted first and made 107 (Charles Smith 40 runs). STAC was all out for 87.
