1st XI Cricket: Loss CGS batted first and made 84 for 3 (Sam Abbot 30, Will Duston and Lewey Heale 14 each). STAC replied with 87 for 5 wickets. The score does not reflect the tension in/of the game. The opening pair (Sam Julian and William Duston) got CGS off to a good start and then the other batsmen played positively. Sam Abbot and Lewey Heale had a great partnership which saw us post a competitive score. Sam Abbot, Lewey Heale and Sam Armitage all took a wicket with Gus Coates bowling a demanding line and length to finish with 2 for 8. One STAC batsman (Shiloh) played well and made 56 not out. A narrow loss to a good team with one strong player.
